I recently met Hannah who owns this cute line, Hansel from Basel. She makes the cutest socks and tights and they are on sale now. Her website makes me want to collect socks!

HBT's Closet clean out report

HBT told me her closet was a big mess and she needed help with cleaning it out. Of course, I was into it. Unfortunately she was on a cleanse so there was no champagne, like in the Sex and the City movie, but it was still a fun freak show.

So basically HBT pulled out stuff that she hasn't worn for a long time and we separated that pile to Yes, Alter, Maybe, No.

She had a lot of clothes (some are not pictured) that she had bought before she lost some weight. They were mostly dresses that were too loose on her current fit bod. So we got rid of a bunch of them and kept a few beautiful pieces for alteration.

She also had some outdated pieces that were just sitting in her closet for years -- like tailored wide pants she used to wear in NYC and an Urban Outfitter dress she wore at her college graduation (she kept it for sentimental reasons).

There were some pieces that she wasn't sure that I absolutely loved and thought she should keep. There were also some great ones that she had worn to death and was just over them. I suggested she give them a year break and try them again next year.

1. The closet can breath and has room for new stuff.
2. She found some old pieces she totally forgot about.
3. She took the "NO"s to the resale store and made some good $$.
4. She used the $$ for some good summer staples she didn't have in her closet.

Oli & Me

Last month I shot a look book for Grace's jewelry line Oli&Me and it's up on her site now.

Clare Vivier introduced me to Grace and her line and I immediately became a big fan. I wear her rings (I upgraded my $7 silver wedding ring to her black diamond ring!), bracelet and necklaces all the time and people always compliment the delicate jewelry. My favorite pieces in her line are definitely this slim cuff and cuff earrings.

Nice people from Myne loaned me a few cute pieces that I picked from their summer 2011 collection so I can have fun with them. So here are how I wore them for 4days.

I'm excited to attend my dear friend Heather's garden wedding this Sunday. Heather wrote about beautiful Lanvin veils on Martha Stewart Weddings and they are oh so gorgeous....

Brad and I got married in the courthouse and this post makes me want to have a beautiful garden wedding in a gorgeous veil. :)

PS:I didn't have a chance to shop for the wedding outfit so I'm gonna have to wear some old dress from my closet. The only dress I can think of is a cream color vintage dress. Is it OK to wear white dress at a wedding? (I insist it's champagne not white..)

My favorite three

These three pieces are probably my favorite things in my wardrobe right now.
*The white top is Bodkin. I got it at Mohawk General Store a few months ago and I finally started wearing it. I'm kind of obsessed with Bodkin lately.
*I got the grey pants in Korea for $35. I seriously wear them EVERYDAY. They go with everything and super comfortable. I should've bought another pair!
*The tan oxfords From Barneys are BUTTER. I can walk around in them all day. LOVE.


I know many of you are wondering why I don't have new Closet Visits lately. I've been so busy working on Closet Visit film 2 and we are finally shooting next week! I'll come back with some amazing closets in two weeks. Hold tight!
