Weekend

I'm packing for a little trip to Big Sur with my girl friends. I know we are gonna have so much fun together! I'll post about the trip. Stay tuned!

Weekend

HBT's sister Megan and her lovely friend Sarah were visiting LA from SF. They wanted a taste of East side LA shopping so we took them to one of our favorite jewelry designers, Kathleen Whitaker's studio for a little earring shopping.

I own a few pairs of hers (the long dash ones and short dash ones) so I got the tear drop ones this time.

Then we stopped by Vivier and Bentley. Sarah bought a clutch, Megan ordered a beautiful pair of Bea's shoes, HBT and I ordered some new Clare Vivier bags that haven't debuted yet. I can not wait for my new bag!

Kathryn's dog, Dot, is the cutest little thing.

Later that evening Brad and I went to HBT and Alex's house for a backyard pizza night. Yummy pizzas, amazing wine from Napa, birthday cake, people we love (HBT & Alex, HBT's parents, Megan, Sarah, Clare & Thierry), Megan's summer mix tape, beautiful backyard, fun conversation, the stars, summer breeze,,, It was perfect.

And now Brad and I are in Palm Springs with the doggies. We just came back from a night swim and the water felt nice and warm. LOVE summer.

Lost

I have to admit I've been feeling a little lost lately. The only thing I want to do right now is go to the beautiful rain forest and take pictures. Portland, anyone?

I bought this Steven Alan button up shirt 2 years ago at a sample sale but I've never worn it. After I saw some inspiration photos, I decided to try it on again. I wore black skinny jeans and had the shirt tucked in. I asked Brad to come out of his studio and look at my outfit.

Me: I want to dress like a boy.
Brad: Um,,, You look like you work at Best Buy.
Me: (Mad voice) What?! That's not true!!
Brad: Can you untuck the shirt? Maybe that's better.
(me untucking the shirt)
Me: What about now?
Brad: Um,,, You look like you just got off of work at Best Buy..
Me: !!!!

Is it that hard to look like these two (below)?
