fashion for little ones

Although I'm not going to turn this blog into a "MOM & BABY" blog, I've been looking at kid's stuff a lot lately and I'd like to share some of them here.
Hannah just sent me the preview of Hansel from Basel's new kid's line and I'm dying. I need a little girl so I can buy those tights and leggings.

Claire introduced me this amazing french kid's store Bonpoint. In Claire's words, it's like Isabel Marant for kids and I totally agree with her. I only wish they were cheaper.

LOVE Stella McCartney Kids! The prices are much better than Bonpoint and i love the designs.

I had a baby 15 months ago and was obsessed with all the baby clothing. Good thing I had a boy because I would have been out of control with buying all these cute things for little girl. In the end, they grow so fast and they dirty everything that you may just want to buy a few cute outfits.

These are really cute.

I have a kid and I am not obsessed with children's clothes. I never was. Is everything okay with me? I never wanted to spend so much money on something that will not last.

Ooooh LOVE the hansel from basel stuff! Bonpoint is totally gorgeous, right? But definitely couldn't justify spending that cash for such tiny clothes which (as others noted) children seem to get ridiculously filthy. It just breaks your heart. However, part of being a mum is reserving the right to spend a ridiculous amount of time browsing gorgeous kids things. That's the rule. Would also recommend (if you haven't seen them already) Thumbeline, Sweet William and Makie.

hehe, welcome to the very dangerous and expensive world of baby clothing. i thought i would be let off the hook with a son, but nope, there are so many tempting shops and brands. bonpoint is wonderful, but i also love stella mccartney. i usually buy multiple sizes during the end of season sales. i spent new years eve ordering things from stella at half off...!

Bonton in France is also AMAZING. The bedding & furniture is to-die: http://www.bonton.fr/

For classic French stuff at, like, Zara prices, look at DPAM (they ship to the US): http://www.dpam.com/?language=en
